Nerf Firestrike - Mass Effect Phalanx M5 style!

Yeah, that works. I bought a Firestrike to see if I liked the new N-Strike Elite, and they're great. This thing fires pretty damn far and fast compared to the older Nite Finder. It's going to be a fun gun to paint and mod.

So the more I stared at it on my desk, the more I was convinced that I could turn it into an M5, or the Mass Effect 3 N7 equivalent. I like the black/white/grey combo of the M5 and I think it turned out pretty good here.

The original M5 artwork shows it all banged up and dirty, and I wanted to really scuff this one up and add some wear and grime. Kind of hard to do on black/white/grey, when you're adding silver overtop of it and then hitting it with a flat clearcoat. :/
